HVA are pleased to have been named as a pilot area for supporting older people through social prescribing.
The pilot is funded by Independent Age www.independentage.org and we will be working with the National Association for Social Prescribing (NASP) www.socialprescribingacademy.org.uk to engage with local older people by holding a variety of social drop in sessions and health and wellbeing activities during May-July 2023.
We will then be working with other local stakeholders to co-design a longer term social prescribing approach for older people specific to Hastings. The co-design phase will run from July-Aug 2023. Any partners wishing to be involved should contact project lead Debby Anderson on [email protected]
