Specialist Women’s Outreach Worker

BWC is currently recruiting for a Specialist Women’s Outreach Worker for East Sussex. As a Specialist Women’s Outreach Worker, you will work with women on an outreach basis to deliver an intensive, relationship-based model of support. You will drive good practice, working effectively within multi-disciplinary teams and utilising the expertise of BWC to contribute to enhancing safety, health, and well-being for the women you work with. 

As well as contributing to improving outcomes for women on your case load, your role will also contribute to the wider systems change aims and outcomes of the Changing Futures project. Changing Futures is a national initiative which aims to improve outcomes for adults experiencing multiple disadvantages including combinations of homelessness, substance misuse, mental health issues, domestic abuse and contact with the criminal justice system.

Responsible to: WASS Service Manager
Working hours: 35 hours per week within normal office hours 9am-5pm. Occasional out of hours may be required. Travel across East Sussex
Work location: You will be based in our Eastbourne office with regular outreach and travel across East Sussex
Contract details: Fixed term to end March 2024
