Sussex Prisoners Families supports families to cope with the imprisonment of a loved one. Our trained volunteers work in courts and HMP Lewes to deal with the immediate impact of imprisonment. We have a drop in session for family members to talk to one our team for advice and support at East Hastings. Our First Stop advice line is open for calls on 01273 499843 to offer support and advocacy with prisons and courts. We have a comprehensive website which offers guidance towards support services that can help support families and literature on how to talk to children about imprisonment. We also offer training and awareness raising for professionals so that they can better meet families needs.
