Hastings & Rother Voluntary Association for the Blind

HRVAB provides a day centre for the visually impaired of Hastings and Rother where they can meet on a regular basis, have a midday meal and join in regular activities such as entertainers and visits to various places.
There is a registered care home for Permanent and respite/holiday accommodation which specialises in visual impairment.
Helpdesks are situated at both Bexhill and the Conquest hospitals. A Low Vision Support Worker is available to visit those who need help and advice in managing their condition, enabling them to remain in their own homes.
There are a number of weekly clubs held in the area for people to meet and enjoy a cup of tea and a chat in company of others.
We have minibuses with disabled facilities for transport to and from the clubs.
We always need more volunteers to help in various ways, if you would like to help please visit us between 9am and 4pm weekdays to discus this or telephone us.
