Boathouse Theatre Arts

The aim of Boathouse is to provide community-based performing and theatre arts for children and young adults with learning disabilities in Hastings & Rother.
Boathouse Theatre Company, for young adults (16+), meets in term-time at Pett Village Hall and all company members work towards putting on a show. The sessions offer drama, dance, singing/signing and theatre crafts.
Boathouse for children is a Saturday Stage School for children with disabilities and their siblings and is held at Glyne Gap School, Bexhill-on-Sea. Children from other schools are welcome.
Boathouse Profound Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) hold sensory sessions at the Hastings Centre each Monday afternoon. Approx one hour when young adults with PMLD can meet and enjoy interaction with our leader. These sensory sessions are not only fun but help in social engagement and stimulation.
