St John Ambulance Hastings Homeless Service

Nurse-led primary health care and support for homeless and vulnerably housed people, including: wound care; podiatry; general health advice; mental health support; nurse prescribing for; pregnancy testing; stop smoking support; advocacy to mainstream health, housing and other services; and specialist training related to first aid and homelessness delivered to homeless people and those who work with them.
The above services delivered at Seaview Project and Hope Kitchen, by a team of nurse volunteer and staff, podiatrists and general support volunteers. Achieved through working in close partnership with other local services.
The Homeless Service takes referrals from the Conquest for any homeless patients attending A&E, for follow-up healthcare in the community.
