Equal Arts is a leading creative ageing charity based in the North East of England but is now offering delivery of its flagship project HenPower in the South East. HenPower offers creative activities alongside hen-keeping in any care setting or group in the Hastings area which older people can access. Its aims are to increase the health and well-being of older people by building positive relationships through looking after chickens and working jointly with relatives, schools, community groups and museums in exciting intergenerational projects. All activities are tailored to the needs of the residents and can involve trips and events and always provide high quality arts and music provision from different creative practitioners on a weekly basis.
