We recruit cadets from the age of 9 1/2 to 21.

We strive to give young people an adventurous and fun aspect based on the Royal Marines and the Armed forces. We do this to improve a number of things including confidence, discipline, teamwork and general life skills that can benefit them later on in life

Become an Cadet with the MTC and you’ll be spending your spare time taking part in adventurous activities like rock climbing, mountain biking, archery and abseiling. OK, you might end up a little wet and muddy, but wouldn't you rather be having the time of your life with some great new mates, instead of just sitting in front of a TV or computer alone in your room?
