Lead Programme Tutor - Sussex Programme

As the Lead Tutor you will have the primary responsibility for delivering the Sussex Programme and will recruit and lead a group of up to 15 young people through the programme by facilitating the taught sessions, working with the students to produce portfolios of evidence for their qualification and some one-to-one support. The post will involve working with young people from vulnerable backgrounds, meeting targets around recruitment and retention rates, and tracking achievements and outcomes.
You will deliver the Sussex Programme to 3 cohorts per year and be responsible for meeting all contractual requirements, quality standards, health and safety as well as taking responsibility for some of the additional admin related to the delivery. The Lead Tutor will be supported by an Assistant Tutor who you will line manage. 
The post holder will not be responsible for delivering the Maths and English elements of the programme.
Due to the nature of the role it will be subject to an enhanced DBS check
