Employer Liason Officer

Groundwork South have been working in Hastings and St Leonards over the last four years and currently are delivering innovative partnership projects across Hastings Country Park Nature Reserve (HCPNR) and Combe Valley Countryside Park including Hidden Hastings Heritage and the development of the new straw bale constructed Visitor Centre, ‘The Bale House’.

Greener Futures is an exciting new CHART (Connecting Hastings and Rother Together) project being delivered by Groundwork South in Hastings Town Centre and Central St Leonards, North East Hastings, Ore Valley and Hollington. Over the next two years Greener Futures will support residents who are the most vulnerable/furthest from being able to access employment to move closer to the labour market/access work and also support any CHART area residents who wish to get involved in volunteering on green space improvements to boost their health and wellbeing.

The Groundwork South Youth, Employment and Skills team support unemployed people to progress into apprenticeships and jobs across the South of England. Our teams of Groundwork Achievement coaches, Employment Advisors and Trainers work with clients to identify their employment aspirations and overcome the barriers to securing those goals.

The Employer Liaison Officer role supports the Senior Employment Advisor in developing and maintaining relationships with employers across the capital with the aim of securing employment roles and opportunities for clients.
