Charity Shop Manager - Hastings

Salary - £12,284 - £13,036  (SCP 12 to 18) per annum, subject to experience
Permanent –   25 hours per week (to include Saturday). Hours may increase dependent on profits.

The AoC East Sussex is the trading arm of the Association of Carers, who support unpaid Carers in East Sussex by providing free, volunteer-led services that encourage independence and reduce isolation.
Our charity shop is a new and exciting opportunity!  This is the first ‘retail outlet’ on the high street for the charity, with a view that if successful, further shops could be introduced in other areas.
As Shop Manager for our charity shop in Hastings, you will be a self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for managing all shop activities, by using your entrepreneurial flair and charity retail skills, aiming to achieve set targets and maximise financial contribution to the charity.  You will also be an ambassador of the Association of Carers.

To reward you, we have a pay scheme which provides the opportunity to progress within your pay band, subject to satisfactory performance.  We also offer a range of benefits which include a generous holiday entitlement, a competitive pension and a staff discount of 25%.  No Sunday or  Bank Holiday working.
