Age Friendly Communities Stakeholders Event

Registration is closed for this event
The Age Friendly Communities framework includes eight domains, or areas, that places should address to improve their structures and services to meet older people’s needs and all of us as we age. Hastings Borough Council passed a motion in December 2020 for Hastings to become an Age Friendly Community and so Hastings Voluntary Action, in partnership with HBC, now invite you, as stakeholders covering these eight domains, to come and find out how you can be involved in this new vision for Hastings. Our event will include a short presentation on the concept of Age Friendly Communities, an overview of work done so far on the project and an opportunity to join the Age Friendly focus group which will be taking responsibility for implementation of improvements and changes that will improve life for older people in our town over the projects life span.
